Running the software as Administrator (This is an old Windows 7 Ultimate machine), and following the guide at CGSecurity: Select the drive, then select Intel/PC, and then Analyse. Under TestDisk, choose geometry, set the number of heads to 255 instead of 240 and run Analyse again. The BIOS has selected another hard disk geometry because of the content of the MBR (empty in this case). The partitions found on the disk will appear. A FAT32 partition has been found but there is a warning about hard disk geometry. If partitions were created in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or when in doubt, press the Y key. Select Analyze option and press Enter key to check partition table structure.
